Available parameters are listed below. These parameters are not valid for MJLS format, or A3xx camera models.

• frate {frame rate in Hz}
• overlay {on|off}
• cbr {constant bitrate in bits per second, 0=variable bitrate}

Instructions using VLC Media Player

The following examples were made using a FLIR AX8 and VLC Player version 2.2.1. You can download the software for free at https://www.videolan.org/.

Before you can connect to the camera, you must set its IP address to be in the same subnet as your computer.

Most cameras in this answer can be cnfigured using FLIR IP Config.
